Michelle’s interest in the mental health field began when she was volunteering for one of the government hospitals in Melbourne, and also when she was working with children as an ABA therapist. Through these experiences, she witnessed the struggle and helplessness among vulnerable groups. It then reinforced her passion to serve the ones who are in need and learn how to journey with them.

Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Monash University, Australia. She then worked for a year as a Junior in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a nonprofit Autism Centre in Melbourne. After returning to Malaysia, she joined and completed her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at HELP University, where she provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment in different settings, including Kajang Hospital, Malaysian Mental Health Association, Dignity for Children Foundation, Mentem Psychological Services, and Refugee Clinic.

Michelle has experience working with clients of various age groups, who suffer from a broad range of afflictions, including mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, personality disorders, and eating disorders. Life can sometimes be challenging to cope with, but it is also full of possibilities. Michelle is then motivated to build genuine connections, work collaboratively with her clients, and help them thrive in life.

Michelle 对心理学和精神健康的兴趣是她在墨尔本的一家政府医院做志愿服务和她在担任儿童ABA治疗师的时候开始产生的。这些经验让她了解到弱势群体所面对的困扰和无助，并且增进了她想为这群体服务和学习如何与他们同行的热诚。

Michelle 毕业于澳大利亚莫纳什大学的文学学士学位（主修心理学）。然后，她在墨尔本一家非营利自闭症中心从事了一年的初级应用行为分析（ABA）工作。回到马来西亚后，她在精英大学完成了她的临床心理学硕士学位。在受训期间，她曾经到加影医院，马来西亚心理健康协会 （MMHA），Dignity for Children Foundation, Mentem 心理治疗中心, 和难民诊所接受专业的心理治疗和心理评估训练。Michelle 拥有着与不同年龄组的治疗经验。她处理过的个案包括：Mood Disorder, Neurodevelopmental Disorder, Personality Disorder and Eating Disorder.
