Terri’s passion for mental health has been inspired over the years by the people and environment around her. After her internship experience working with special needs children, it further reinforced her will to be part of the mental health line.

Terri obtained her Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from Help University, Malaysia. She then worked as a client service officer before pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Taylor’s University, where she provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment in private settings comprising a wide age range, from children to adults.

She has experience working with individuals experiencing psychological difficulties including mood, behavioral, relational and neurodevelopmental disorders. In her therapeutic work, she adopts a collaborative approach and primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating techniques from other modalities to help clients deepen their self-understanding and move toward meaningful change.

Terri 对心理健康的热忱多年来受到身边人事物的启发而逐渐萌发。在实习期间,她曾与特殊需要儿童共事,这段经验进一步坚定了她投身心理健康领域的决心。她于马来西亚 精英大学获得心理学(荣誉)学士学位,随后曾担任客户服务专员。在此之后,她继续在泰莱大学攻读临床心理学硕士学位。研究生实习期间,她曾于私人机构为不同年龄层的个案,从儿童到成人并提供心理治疗与心理评估服务。

Terri 擅长协助面对各种心理困扰的个体,包括情绪障碍、行为问题、人际关系困扰以及神经发展障碍。在治疗过程中,她秉持合作性的治疗关系,主要运用认知行为治疗(CBT),同时融合其他治疗取向的技巧,以协助来访者更深入地认识自己,并朝向有意义的改变迈进。
